Cabinets

Focus Audio cabinets are sculptured specifically to enhance imaging and are constructed
with both premium grade 1” MDF and on the FC7 II,

FC8 II and FC9 II models up to 2” thick MDF for the front baffles. The combination of varying
thicknesses provides excellent acoustical properties.

Finely handcrafted cabinets are finished with premium
grade real wood veneer providing the elegance of fine furniture.

Drivers

Drivers are custom made by renowned Danish driver manufacturer to
Focus Audio’s exacting specifications.

Innovative dome tweeters are air cooled with a non-resonant chamber-damping
that provides a smooth and detailed response beyond 25 kHz, enabling
low distortion even under high-powered operation.

Long throw type woofers with glass fiber material driver cones are chosen for their excellent
reproduction of naturally rich, dynamic and musical sounding characteristics.

Crossover

Focus Audio designed crossovers are optimized using the most advanced computer-aided
programs and are then fine-tuned through painstaking auditioning.
The end result is a smooth transition between drivers, wide and uniform
dispersion of the sound and excellent power handling. 

Each crossover is made of the highest quality components; non inductive wire wound precision resistors,
ultra fast Polypropylene capacitors, high purity copper induction coils and internal wiring, hand

assembled circuitry with silver solder and terminated with heavy gauge, gold plated bi-wire binding posts.

Quality control

Drivers and crossover components are computer tested and matched
to ensure that they meet Focus Audio's stringent requirements. 

To proudly display the Focus Audio badge, each loudspeaker must be subject to a
complete quality assurance program and to perform as close to the original
model as humanely possible. 

At Focus, compromise is not an option.  Perfection is a mandate.
